Safe "support" for people during storm No. 13

In response to the province's request to activate the response plan for storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) at the highest level and complete important and urgent tasks, especially the evacuation of people before 10:00 a.m. on November 6, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Military Command of Gia Lai province, the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard called on 1,877 ships with more than 13,000 fishermen to enter safe anchorage; arranged 4,200 boats at fishing ports; pulled 15 aquaculture cages and 116 small vehicles, mainly basket boats, ashore.

Supported the evacuation of 265 households with 822 people in areas at risk of landslides and flooding; helped people reinforce 430 houses and disseminated storm prevention and control measures to more than 3,100 people. The "blue stars" went to every alley, knocked on every door to help people prevent and control storm Kalmaegi and became a safe "support" for the people.
