The moment the conical pine tree lights up:
The Christmas atmosphere in Dong Nai became even more vibrant when the largest Christmas tree made of conical hats in Vietnam, located at Ha Phat Church (Long Binh Ward), was officially lit up, attracting many locals and tourists to visit and take photos.

At 6:30 PM every evening, thousands of lights, meticulously installed under each conical hat, simultaneously illuminate the conical hat Christmas tree, creating a dazzling and magical glow.

The conical pine tree is further decorated with sparkling tinsel and hundreds of colorful ornaments, creating a vibrant focal point.

This extraordinary Christmas tree, erected in the grounds of Ha Phat Church, stands out with its height of approximately 35 meters, its four-tiered design, and its sturdy structure made from nearly 3,000 traditional conical hats.
The tree's widest section has a diameter of nearly 15 meters, then narrows gradually towards the top. To ensure safety, the church has reinforced the surrounding area with a system of cables to protect it from strong winds.

From early evening, many people flocked to Ha Phat Church to wait for the moment the conical Christmas tree would light up. Nguyen Thu Ha (from Binh Minh commune) said that although her family visits every year, each time the tree is illuminated, it brings a very special feeling.
"The pine tree is not only large but also deeply rooted in traditional culture. When the lights are on, the entire church grounds glow, making the Christmas spirit feel very close," Ha shared.

Not only young people, but also many families with small children and even elderly people take the opportunity to stroll around, take photos, and enjoy the early Christmas atmosphere. As evening approaches, the number of people flocking to the church grounds increases, turning it into a familiar check-in spot every Christmas season.

Two young people, Le Thi Minh Hang and Nguyen Minh Hieu (residents of Ho Nai ward), said they arrived very early to choose a good spot for taking photos.
According to Hang, the Christmas tree made from conical hats is not only impressive in scale but also carries special meaning, harmoniously combining traditional Vietnamese culture with the Christmas spirit of Catholics.

Representatives from Ha Phat Church stated that the conical Christmas tree will be illuminated throughout the Christmas season for the benefit of locals and tourists. Each evening, the lighting system will be temporarily switched off for about 10 minutes to allow for cooling with water spray, ensuring stable and safe operation, before being reactivated.
This is the eighth year that Ha Phat Church has maintained the tradition of decorating its Christmas tree with conical hats. Although this year's design is more streamlined, with one less tier than last season, the tree still retains its tall, vibrant shape, attracting many locals and tourists from near and far.

Previously, in 2020, the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings) confirmed the record for "The tallest Christmas tree made of conical hats in Vietnam" at Ha Phat Church, with a height of 35m, created from 2,360 conical hats.
