Dien Bien: A vibrant "AI Festival"

The "AI Festival" event was organized by the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with STEAM for Vietnam, under the direction of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and People's Council, to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

The event included activities such as: launching the " Dien Bien Phu - AI-Covered Journey" campaign and the "Digital Literacy for the People" movement; summarizing the "Next-Generation AI Application" training course and honoring outstanding projects; experiencing AI technology at exhibition booths; and a friendly robotics competition with the theme "Campaign 715".

The event attracted a large number of young people, students, and people from all walks of life to participate and show their support.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang presented certificates of commendation to individuals who had achieved outstanding results in organizing the AI Festival and training on "Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence Applications" for teachers and staff.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to one collective and five individuals for their outstanding achievements in organizing the "AI Festival"; training teachers and staff on "Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence Applications"; and honored five individuals with the best AI application projects in the "Next-Generation AI Applications" training course.

The first "AI Festival" held in Dien Bien - a mountainous province still facing many difficulties - demonstrated the determination of the provincial leadership to proactively integrate into global trends, exploiting advanced technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), as a new driving force for sustainable and comprehensive socio-economic development.

The event aims to spread the spirit of applying science and technology. Every official and Party member should set an example and take the lead in learning and applying technology. Every educational institution and business should become a center for disseminating digital knowledge, and every citizen should proactively learn and improve their technological skills, working together to build a strong, civilized, and developed digital community.
