Congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the occasion of Mr. Andrej Babis's election as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic on December 16, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a congratulatory message.

On the same day, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung also sent a congratulatory message to Foreign Minister Petr Macinka.

On December 9th, billionaire Andrej Babis was sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, marking the businessman's return to power.

Andrej Babis, born on September 2, 1954, in Bratislava, Slovakia, served as President of the ANO Movement from August 2012 and as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 2017 to 2021. Besides his political career, he is also the owner of the Agrofert Group and several other companies, and is known as one of the wealthiest and most influential businessmen in the Czech Republic.

Mr. Babis pledged to the Czech people that he "will fight for their interests at home and wherever in the world," and that he would do everything in his power to make the Czech Republic "the best place to live on Earth."

On December 15th, Prime Minister Andrej Babis's cabinet was sworn into office.
