"Crocodile Queen" Quynh Nga is embroiled in controversy after publicly revealing her bank account number to solicit votes in the show "Beautiful Women Riding the Waves".

Netizens consider this a distasteful act. Many question whether the money was actually used for its intended purpose. In response to this question, the actress from "Go Home, My Son" retorted:

"My friends aren't worried, so why should you be? It's still a vote for me; I won't get any richer just from the extra money. More importantly, many friends want to support me but don't know how, so I'm voting on their behalf. The important thing is that I ask for support from those who love me, my brothers and sisters, and my friends."

Following a rather strong public backlash, Quynh Nga revised the announcement, adding a representative for her fan club so that people could contact them to register to buy voting SIM cards. She issued an explanation and apologized to the audience.

"Regarding the calls for votes for me in the program and the many shared comments, I would like to repost the voting method and will no longer request bank transfers or personal account details to avoid misunderstandings. I sincerely apologize if my appeals caused any misunderstandings about my intentions. I hope everyone will continue to support me and the program."

Along with Quynh Nga, Huong Ly also caused controversy by posting her bank account number to encourage people to support the voting. Notably, the content she posted matched Quynh Nga's. “The voting method is a bit complicated, you have to buy a SIM card and activate it. I'm lucky to have a group of loyal fans who will handle these issues. All you need to do is prepare the money and transfer it to her to buy a voting SIM card. I'll accept 10,000 VND or 20,000 VND…”

Following the incident involving Quynh Nga, Huong Ly quickly deleted the post, but viewers managed to take screenshots. The similar methods of propaganda and appeals have led many viewers to question whether the program is intentionally creating drama to generate buzz for the show.

Khổng Tú Quỳnh urged viewers to vote on her personal page, but she only provided instructions on how to buy SIM cards and did not post her personal account details.

Having only aired 4 episodes, "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" has sparked much controversy due to the judges' scoring and evaluation methods, and the plot has been criticized as lengthy and drawn-out. There are reports that singer Bao Anh will withdraw from the program in the next episode, but the show's media representative declined to comment on this matter, stating, "We hope viewers will continue watching the program in the following episodes to understand the situation better."
