Actor Patrick Muldoon, famous for his roles in Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and Starship Troopers, passed away suddenly at the age of 57 after suffering a severe heart attack.

On April 20th, Variety reported that American actor and producer Patrick Muldoon had passed away at the age of 57 after suffering a heart attack. The information was confirmed by his manager.

According to TMZ , Patrick Muldoon passed away on the morning of April 19th at his home in Beverly Hills. His sister said that he went to the bathroom that morning after having coffee with a friend.

Seeing that he had been inside for too long, his friend went in to check on him and found him unconscious on the floor. Emergency services quickly arrived and attempted resuscitation, but he did not survive.

Born on September 27, 1968, in San Pedro, California, Patrick Muldoon graduated from the University of Southern California in 1991. He began his acting career while still in college with a role in the sitcom Who's the Boss?, before landing a role in Saved by the Bell after graduation.

Patrick Muldoon rose to fame as the first actor to play Austin Reed in the television series Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 1995, and reprised the role in 2011. He also made his mark as the villain Richard Hart in Melrose Place , appearing for several seasons from the mid-1990s.
