The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has just issued a decision to suspend trading for 29 stocks listed on UPCoM, effective from December 15, 2023.
These stock codes include: AVF, B82, BT6, C12, CTA, CTN, FBA, GTT, HDO, HLA, HVG, KAC, KHL, KSS, NDF, NTB, PID, PX1, S27, S96, SD1, SD8, SDB, SDX, STL, TBT, TNM, V15, VNI.
A number of stocks on UPCoM have had their trading suspended. |
According to HNX, the basis for considering suspending stock trading is that the listed companies have not published their audited annual financial statements for three consecutive fiscal years or more. This is a serious violation of the obligation to disclose financial statements by listed companies on the UPCoM market.
Previously, these businesses had been restricted from trading due to late submission of required financial reports and a lack of corrective measures.
Based on the regulations on registration and management of unlisted securities transactions issued with Decision No. 34/QD-HDTV dated November 16, 2022, of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Stock Exchange, and in accordance with the guidance of the Vietnam Stock Exchange, to protect the rights of investors, the Hanoi Stock Exchange has handled violations within its authority.
Shares will be considered for removal from the trading suspension list when the listed company submits a written request accompanied by documents proving that it has fully rectified the cause of the trading suspension.
