Dinh Lap: A bright spot in poverty reduction

Mr. Chu Xuan Moc, Ban Muc village, Thai Binh commune said: My family's economy mainly depends on the forest hills, but in the past, the family's pine hills developed slowly because we did not know how to take care of them, so my family was still a poor household in the commune since 2017. In 2020, the Commune People's Committee created conditions for me to borrow 50 million VND from the district's Social Policy Bank (CSXH) to take care of more than 3 hectares of pine forests and participated in training courses on planting and caring for pine trees, so I know how to apply them in practice. Since 2024, the pine hills have started to exploit resin with an income of more than 80 million VND/year and my family has also been supported with 50 million VND to build a house, so by the end of 2024, my family has escaped poverty.
