On November 27th, the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province announced that it had completed its report summarizing tourism activities in 2024 and outlining key directions and tasks for 2025.
According to the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province, in 2024, the number of tourists visiting the province is estimated to reach 9.2 million, an increase of 83.9% compared to 2023 (93,850 international tourists and over 9.1 million domestic tourists); tourism revenue is estimated to reach 25,500 billion VND, an increase of 55.4% compared to 2023 (16,405 billion VND).
Tourist destinations that attracted a large number of visitors included Eo Gió – Nhơn Lý (397,000 visitors); Hòn Sẹo, Hòn Sụn, Rạng Beach, Đá Đẻ Beach, the Green Stone Road, Phương Mai Sand Dunes (353,000 visitors); Kỳ Co (270,000 visitors). Bình Định Provincial Museum, Twin Towers, Dương Long Tower, Cánh Tiên Tower, Bánh Ít Tower (over 170,000 visitors).
Quang Trung Museum, the Tay Son Three Heroes National Special Monument Area; Admiral Bui Thi Xuan Temple; Grand Minister Vo Van Dung Temple; Kinh Thien Monument Area; Nguyen Sinh Sac Memorial Area at the District Hall (over 170,000 visitors).
In 2024, Binh Dinh province hosted many large-scale events and activities of international caliber, attracting a large number of local people and domestic and foreign tourists.

Currently, tourists tend to fly from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), Pleiku (Gia Lai), and Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak) airports, then use land transportation (private cars, buses, etc.) to visit and tour Binh Dinh.
In addition, the number of visitors arriving in Binh Dinh by train has also increased significantly, resulting in the number of flights to the province this year reaching only over 4,000, a decrease of more than 1,000 flights compared to 2023.
Speaking with Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Tran Van Thanh – Director of the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province – said that 2024 will be a year of strong growth for the province's tourism. Cultural and sports festivals will be organized in line with the strengths of each locality, creating new tourism products and contributing to the goal of making tourism in Binh Dinh a key economic sector in the 2020-2025 period.
"This is the first time Binh Dinh has received over 9 million visitors and generated 25,500 billion VND in tourism revenue, a sign that the province's tourism is developing remarkably," Mr. Tran Van Thanh affirmed.
