'Flip Side 8: Vong Tay Nang' directed by Ly Hai surpassed 'Detective Kien: The Headless Case' by Vitor Vu after the first week of release.

As of the morning of May 5, Lat mat 8: Vong tay nang reached 150.9 billion VND, while Detective Kien: Ky an khong dau held the second position on the box office revenue chart last week of Box Office Vietnam (an independent box office revenue statistics unit) with 132.5 billion VND.

Detective Kien: The Headless Case is a detective and horror film that continues the story after the events in The Last Wife, also directed by Victor Vu.
