Tourism revenue increased by 14%.

In the first three months of this year, tourist areas and destinations in Thai Nguyen province welcomed nearly 1.3 million visitors, an increase of 10.5% compared to the same period last year. Revenue from tourism activities is estimated at nearly 400 billion VND, an increase of 14%.

In particular, during the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Snake (from January 29th to February 2nd), tourist areas and destinations welcomed 286,000 visitors, a 43% increase compared to the same period last year.

To achieve this result, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has intensified tourism promotion activities, such as distributing brochures and tourist maps of the province to visitors; strengthening information dissemination and introducing destinations through mass media and social networks; and promoting the digitalization of tourism promotion at some destinations.

The beautiful traditional cultural features of ethnic minority groups are preserved, passed down, and promoted through tourism activities.

Tourist areas, attractions, accommodation establishments, and tourism service businesses in the province strictly comply with State regulations on security, order, and food safety and hygiene; they focus on decorating the landscape and creating a cheerful atmosphere to serve tourists; accommodation services, passenger transportation, goods, and souvenirs have publicly displayed prices and are sold at the listed prices...
