In 2025, Thai Nguyen welcomed over 7.3 million tourists, achieving 104.3% of the annual plan. Tourism revenue is estimated at nearly 7,447 billion VND, equivalent to 105% of the annual plan.

In 2025, Thai Nguyen province's tourism industry is expected to welcome more than 7.3 million visitors.

To achieve these results, the province organized many tourism promotion activities during the year, such as: the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week; and the Opening Ceremony of the Thai Nguyen Province Tourism Season 2025 with a series of rich and attractive activities.

The province has organized national and international sports competitions; hot air balloon demonstrations; exhibition spaces promoting tourism products, OCOP products, and tea culture; performances of traditional arts of ethnic groups; demonstrations and experiences of unique cuisine made from tea; exhibitions of beautiful photos about Thai Nguyen's culture, sports, and tourism; and operated a tourist train from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen.

In addition, the province will organize delegations to participate in the Tourism Destination Promotion Conference at the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2025; and organize Famtrip delegations to survey destinations and Famtrip tours of Thai Nguyen's culinary scene in 2025.

These activities contribute to expanding the market, strengthening linkages, and enhancing the competitiveness of Thai Nguyen tourism in the new phase.

To ensure tourism develops in line with its potential, the Provincial Steering Committee for Tourism Development continues to coordinate with provinces and cities nationwide to effectively implement tourism promotion and marketing activities; strengthen efforts to bring the image of Thai Nguyen's homeland, country, and people closer to domestic and international friends; and at the same time, introduce the potential and strengths of tourism, create a favorable environment, and invite investors to cooperate in developing sustainable tourism.
