According to the release schedule, director Do Quoc Trung's film was not scheduled to officially hit theaters until April 24th. However, the film had early screenings from 6 PM on April 16th and throughout April 17th to 19th.

As of the morning of April 20th, including advance ticket sales, the film had grossed nearly 73 billion VND in total.
Previously, according to the producer's representative, the film reached 15 billion VND after its first 6-hour early screening, setting a record as the top-grossing horror film in early screenings, surpassing 50 billion VND after 3 days of early screenings, and accounting for 85% of the market revenue with over 500,000 viewers attending the theaters...
Building on its success, the production and distribution team decided to continuously screen the film in theaters starting April 20th.
The film will undoubtedly be the next Vietnamese film to surpass the 100 billion VND mark in revenue, creating a significant advantage in the race against the other four films that will be released during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the April 30th holiday.

The overwhelming popularity of "Phi Phong" caused "Hen Em Ngay Nhat Thuc" (Meet You on the Eclipse Day) - a film that had topped the box office charts for three consecutive weeks - to drop to second place. Director Le Thien Vien's film grossed nearly 114 billion VND in total - a result that exceeded the team's expectations.
Last week, Lee Cronin's new horror film, *The Mummy*, premiered in theaters but fell short of expectations, earning only around 3 billion VND.
Although the animated film Super Mario galactic has exploded in international markets with revenues exceeding 747 billion VND to date, it has not been as successful in Vietnam, currently only reaching over 18 billion VND.

Similarly, the South Korean film " Under the Shadow of the Electric Light," despite being highly praised for its quality, had rather modest box office revenue, reaching nearly 10 billion VND.
This week, the Vietnamese box office enters the peak of the holiday season with the simultaneous release of the remaining four films: Hero, The Boss, Five-Toed Pig, and Blood Moon Party 8. In addition, the musical-psychological film Michael and two animated films: The Super Cat at the Museum 2 - The Pyramid Rampage and The Grumpy Little Fish also officially premiere this week, promising fierce competition at the box office.
