
On the afternoon of June 16th, Ms. Le Thu Hien, Acting Director of the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum, announced that the museum had just organized a scientific council to appraise more than 125 artifacts discovered and recovered in Tan Phu commune (Nghe An province).
The artifacts include various types, such as: bronze bowls, bronze basins, bronze pots, bronze stands, slanted-bladed battle axes, symmetrical-bladed axes, quadrilateral axes, bracelets, anklets, daggers, spears, lances, arrows, spindle whorls, etc.

The artifacts, identified as belonging to the Dong Son culture , are valuable and rare, vividly reflecting the economic , cultural, social life and technical level of the ancient inhabitants in Nghe An province.
In the coming time, the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum will continue to complete the scientific documentation and develop optimal, long-term preservation and restoration plans for the artifacts. At the same time, it will prepare for exhibitions and presentations to the public, contributing to the dissemination and promotion of the unique heritage value of these artifacts.
