The program attracted the attention of experts, culinary innovators, and chefs from Ho Chi Minh City, Thailand, and Malaysia , along with KOLs, KOCs, and businesses involved in the durian industry. Notably, the talk show also featured Miss Tourism Ambassador Vietnam 2024, Dinh Thi Hoa.
This talk show aims to pave the way for the 2026 Dak Lak Durian Festival with the theme "Dak Lak Durian - Connecting and Reaching Further". It's also a special opportunity to examine durian from a culinary cultural perspective – a crucial element in the development of experiential tourism today.

Throughout its development, many agricultural products of Dak Lak have transcended their purely economic value to become symbols, contributing to the region's brand recognition. Among them, Dak Lak durian is a typical product, closely associated with the labor and creativity of the people, especially the ethnic communities in the province.
The Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026, organized on a provincial scale, aims not only to honor a distinctive agricultural product but also to promote the image of Dak Lak's land and people; to connect farmers, businesses, scientists, managers, and tourists; and to promote agricultural economic development linked with culture, tourism, and integration.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, said that organizing the Talk show within the framework of the Dak Lak Durian Festival is an important opportunity to spread the image of Dak Lak - a destination rich in identity, dynamic and friendly.
Visitors to Dak Lak not only come to enjoy a special fruit, but also to explore the cultural space, natural landscapes, people, and vibrant stories of this highland region. This contributes to promoting tourism, trade, and enhancing the brand value of durian in both domestic and international markets.
The talk show is an opportunity for chefs and experts to share their experiences in preparing durian into various dishes. Hopefully, the program will create new value and contribute to making Dak Lak durian a product with depth in terms of brand, culture, and tourism.

As part of the program, chefs will showcase many unique dishes such as baked shrimp with durian and cheese sauce, shrimp with durian and salted egg sauce, grilled shrimp with chili and durian sauce, green curry with durian, sticky rice with durian, etc.

Chef Billy from Malaysia highly appreciates the distinctive flavor of Vietnamese durian and believes that this fruit has great potential in modern cuisine.
As we can see, cuisine has always been an integral part of cultural identity. A delicious dish not only provides a sensory experience but also tells a story about the land, the people, and the values behind the product. For Dak Lak durian, that story is the story of the fertile basalt soil, the hardworking farmers, the transformation of production thinking, the application of science and technology, and the aspiration to build a local agricultural brand that reaches ever further.
