Cadena SER reports that President Ronaldo "the Fat" reached an agreement with a new investor several weeks ago. The two sides even signed a preliminary agreement. However, confidentiality clauses in the contract prevented either party from disclosing any information until early May.

The expected price for this transfer is around 40 million euros, higher than the 39 million euros Ronaldo demanded. During the Christmas period, the Brazilian legend had to invest 6 million euros to balance the club's finances.

AS revealed that a group of investors from Mexico have withdrawn from the race to acquire a stake in Valladolid. This leaves the race to own the La Liga club as a competition between a group of Egyptian investors and another group of Mexican businessmen.

Ronaldo "the Fat" has been in charge of Valladolid for the past seven years, but has recently faced backlash from fans. The former Brazilian star is considered indifferent to the team, leading to their current poor results (bottom of the league table).
