The Minh Hoa Commune Women's Union with 30 branches has become a "common home" for women of all ethnic groups in the area, in which Muong women make up the majority. Over the years, the Commune Women's Union has organized many exciting movements, with women uniting and helping each other in many areas of life.
Ms. Pham Thi Thuy An - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Commune Women's Union said: "Currently, the women's union branches are maintaining over 90% of member families participating in the model of "5 no, 3 clean", "5 yes, 3 clean"; besides, women union members also actively participate in cultural and sports activities of the residential area; maintain the self-managed women's fund to help members in difficult circumstances borrow capital to develop the economy and visit members when they are sick.
These vibrant movements and activities have contributed to attracting female members over the years. In addition, the Association has also directed the launch of many operational models in many aspects to improve the quality of activities, attract members, and build an increasingly strong Association organization.

Cultural and artistic activities organized by the Phong Chau Ward Women's Union always attract a large number of female members to participate, contributing to building a strong Union organization.
In Hung Viet commune, the Women's Union currently has over 4,300 members, with a membership attraction rate of nearly 80%. In the 2021-2025 period, the Union at all levels has admitted 106 new members. Being a rural area but diversifying occupations, to attract members to participate, the Women's Union at all levels has focused on selecting models and methods suitable to practical conditions. Along with that are a series of programs and activities to promote and enhance the role of women in all aspects of social life. Thanks to that, women members are increasingly attached and actively participate in activities, bringing the union movement deeper and deeper.
Implementing the breakthrough "Focusing on building a strong grassroots organization" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress, the Provincial Women's Union identified this as a key task throughout, with decisive significance in improving the quality of organization and operation of the Union.
Accordingly, the Provincial Women's Union has specified the targets and issued implementation guidelines suitable to local conditions. First of all, the Provincial Women's Union directed all levels of the Union to promote network development, attract members and members through building new and expanding many models of gathering and attracting members according to interests, ages, and target groups; improve the content and form of activities suitable to the aspirations and professions of members; focus on building and promoting the role of core members, strengthening coordination with departments, branches, and organizations to support activities to care for Union officials and widely deploy activities to the grassroots.
The Women's Union at all levels has focused on diversifying the types of gatherings with more than 230 clubs, organizations, and groups of women operating according to specific characteristics, attracting more than 260,000 members. The model of gathering members according to residential areas operates in a disciplined and stable manner, basically meeting the needs and aspirations of the majority of women. The model of gathering women on cyberspace has been piloted at the provincial level with 2 models of gathering women in the form of zalo groups. To date, the whole province has 541,984 women members participating in activities in the Women's Union organizations. In particular, in the first term of recognizing honorary members, the whole province has 6,600 honorary members who are leaders of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, organizations at all levels, businesses, and individuals accompanying the Women's Union at all levels in the Union's activities and women's movements. | |

Along with that, in order to build a strong Union organization, the Women's Union at all levels has also strengthened the work of inspection, supervision, rewards and commendations to create motivation for emulation between units; focusing on improving the quality of grassroots cadres, especially branch presidents. From 2021 to now, the whole province has coordinated to organize 98 training courses on women's work for nearly 2,000 Union officials at all levels and 7,800 branch presidents. Along with that, the Union has included the criterion of "building a strong grassroots union" in the annual emulation content, associated with the assessment and classification of emulation movements of localities. Thanks to that, the quality of union activities has been significantly improved.
Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union Kha Thi Luan emphasized: The realization of the breakthrough has strengthened the trust of women members in the Union organization; contributed to building an increasingly strong Union organization, meeting the requirements set out in the current situation. In the coming time, the Provincial Women's Union will continue to direct all levels of the Union to innovate the content and methods of operation, diversify the forms of gathering members through many models, practical work, focusing on the grassroots to achieve the goal that by the end of 2030, the whole province will strive to increase at least 5% of members compared to the number of members at the beginning of the term; 90% of the branch presidents will be trained in professional skills of the Union work, social work skills, meeting the requirements of the job in the new situation; 100% of full-time Union officials at all levels will be proficient in using application software in the Union system; 100% of provincial and grassroots Women's Unions carry out digital transformation, change management methods and organize activities in the digital environment, and apply information technology in their activities.
