Not only are they dynamic and creative, they also demonstrate an increasingly strong sense of social responsibility, contributing to creating a more civilized and sustainable Da Nang .

Initiatives from life

On November 23, the Da Nang Youth Union coordinated with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to summarize and evaluate the project activities "Da Nang Youth innovates and creates projects for the community" in 2025. The program has the participation of 27 projects from high schools and continuing education centers in the city.

Bringing to the “Creaction” project program, the group of students Bui Thi Kim Ngan, Le Ho Huyen My, Thai Ngoc Vi and Tran Hoang Kien (Phan Chau Trinh High School) introduced a website that supports users to build and participate in projects in many different fields. With an intuitive interface and AI chatbox feature, users can easily turn their ideas into specific, detailed action plans.

Not only does it create projects that benefit individuals and the community, the platform also plays a role in connecting people with similar interests, helping them work more effectively and achieve good results when they find the right “teammates”. Thereby, “Creaction” spreads positive values, contributing to promoting meaningful changes in the community.

Meanwhile, a group of students Nguyen Bao Khang, Le Ha Linh, Tran Le Anh Tuyet and Vu Hoang Anh (Ngo Quyen High School) introduced the project "NQu Flood Fighter - one-way valve to overcome the problem of engine stalling when going through flooded areas".

The product operates on the principle of allowing gas and water to only escape in one fixed direction, unable to flow back. Thanks to that, when the vehicle passes through flooded areas, exhaust gas is still pushed out normally, while water is prevented from overflowing into the exhaust pipe, helping to limit the risk of engine failure and effectively protect the engine.

“NQu Flood Fighter - one-way valve to overcome engine stalling when going through flooded areas” has simple installation and use: users just need to attach the valve to the exhaust pipe and fix it with specialized tape. When operating the vehicle in flooded conditions, maintain a stable speed of 30-35 km/h, avoid reducing the throttle or braking suddenly to limit water backflow. The product is suitable for most popular motorbike models today.

It is even more special when it has many outstanding advantages: low price, compact design, easy to install, comes with a product bag with integrated smart QR code so that users can receive 24/7 support on installation, operation and basic troubleshooting.

Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Phuong, Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, said that the program clearly demonstrates the proactive, responsible and mature spirit of the city's youth in the journey to realize initiatives for the community.

After two months of implementation, the project teams not only demonstrated their creativity, but also knew how to apply the skills they had been equipped with to build a plan in a scientific, methodical and highly feasible way. In particular, they approached the problem in a more modern way, focusing on sustainability, integration, gender equality and environmental friendliness, boldly applying technology to optimize the effectiveness of the project.

Strengthen training and development

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association has also recently coordinated with the University of Danang to organize a student science conference on technology "Connecting young knowledge - Creating the future of Vietnam's semiconductors" for students nationwide. The event is the 7th activity in a series of 11 national student science conferences, associated with strategic technology groups in accordance with the direction of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Nguyen Thien Nhat, a student at the Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications (University of Danang), shared that academic forums act as a “bridge” between students, lecturers, scientists and businesses. This is a space for people to meet, exchange knowledge and propose new research and application directions that are valuable both scientifically and practically.

“Through forums, we have access to new knowledge, trends and technologies in the semiconductor field. At the same time, we can raise difficulties in the learning and research process to receive timely support from experts and scientists,” Nhat said.

Dr. Phan Minh Duc, Chairman of the Council of Danang University, said that Danang University is promoting the model of interdisciplinary research cooperation, connecting member universities, research institutes, technology enterprises and international partners. In particular, the orientation of building a startup - innovation ecosystem is linked to the strategy of Danang city by linking the high-tech park with TechnoPole, including: incubation center, prototype manufacturing workshop, software development testing environment and joint laboratory on semiconductors, AI, robotics, biomedicine, materials, energy, etc.

At the same time, Danang University focuses on developing a workforce of students with global mindset, mastering core technology and capable of participating in the value chain of the booming semiconductor industry. It is expected that each student will be equipped with a solid foundation in science and technology, becoming engineers and young innovators contributing to the development of Vietnam's semiconductor chip industry.
