Coming to the People's Army Newspaper, the beauty queens bring with them not only beauty, intelligence, and a desire to contribute, but also a deep respect for revolutionary journalism; a reverence for a leading newsroom in the Vietnamese press system. The beauties all expressed their admiration for the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army; and their wish to get closer to the soldiers of Uncle Ho – the people's army.
