Support to find relatives in time

Since the beginning of the year, Phong Dien District Police and the police of communes and towns have received nearly 10 thank you letters from people, agencies and units. Each letter is a different story and situation, but the common point is to express sincere thanks and praise the sense of responsibility of police officers and soldiers in the process of performing their duties.

Recently, Phong Dien District Police and Phong An Commune Police received a letter of thanks from the people for quickly verifying and finding the family of a child who showed signs of illness and was lost and returning to his family. On July 20, Phong Dien District Police received a report from the people about a lost boy in Thuong An village, Phong An commune. The district police sent functional forces to coordinate with Phong An Commune Police to collect information. After asking, they learned that the child could not speak and did not know the way home. Phong An Commune Police sent officers to receive, verify the information and notify on Zalo and Facebook groups; thereby, they contacted the family to pick up the child and bring him back to his home in Phu Hau ward, Hue city.

According to the family, the child's name is PVH (born in 2007), who got lost from home at 8:00 p.m. on July 19. The family asked the authorities to search for him but unexpectedly he had gone astray on his bicycle to Phong An commune. On behalf of the family, H.'s uncle wrote a letter of thanks to the officers and soldiers of Phong Dien District Police and Phong An Commune Police for upholding their sense of responsibility; caring, helping, contacting, and supporting the family in taking care of H. while waiting for his family to pick him up.

Similarly, on June 18, Phong Dien District Police helped a depressed man who got lost from Dong Nai to reunite with his family. Specifically, on the afternoon of June 18, the man came to the Phong Dien District Police on duty for help. The Phong Dien District Police Command then sent officers to take Mr. D. to Phong Dien Town Police to help him eat and recover his health. During the contact, Phong Dien Town Police officers learned that the man's name was HVD (born in 1979, residing in Dong Nai Province). After that, Phong Dien District Police officers verified the information and contacted Mr. D.'s family to coordinate in taking him home. Mr. D.'s family then went from Dong Nai to Phong Dien Town to pick him up and take him home.

Touched by the spirit and responsibility of the police force, Mr. D's wife wrote a letter of thanks to the officers and soldiers of Phong Dien Town Police and Phong Dien District Police for helping to contact the family and providing care while waiting for relatives to pick him up.

Thank you letter from Mr. Nguyen Huu Phong to the police after finding lost property

For the People to Serve

Not only actively searching for relatives to reunite people with their families, in recent times, the police force in Phong Dien locality has also actively helped people find lost property. A typical incident occurred on the evening of June 9, when Mr. Nguyen Huu Phong (from Nghe An ) was taking a bus from Phu Loc district to Nghe An, when he arrived at Phong Thu commune, Phong Dien district, he had to change buses. After getting on another bus and traveling a short distance, he discovered that his phone was missing, so he asked the driver to turn back but was not allowed, so he got off the bus and walked back to look for it. At this time, it was about 11 pm, it was raining, and he could not remember where he had changed buses before, so Mr. Phong walked for more than 30 minutes but still could not find it. At that time, Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Hoa, Chief of Phong Thu commune police, and Lieutenant Colonel Ho Ngoc Anh (commune police officer) were on night patrol duty on National Highway 1A and discovered Mr. Phong so they came to visit and help.

After learning about Mr. Phong's story, Lieutenant Colonel Hoa drove Mr. Phong back nearly 2km by motorbike. After about 45 minutes of searching, the Chief of Phong Thu Commune Police found Mr. Phong's phone on National Highway 1A. In addition to helping Mr. Phong find his phone, Lieutenant Colonel Hoa also helped the young man catch a bus home that night.

In response to the above action, Mr. Phong expressed his joy and gratitude and wrote a thank you letter to Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Hoa and the Phong Thu Commune force. “I am really happy to have found the phone; because my phone has a lot of necessary data...”, the handwritten letter read.

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Hong Quang, Chief of Phong Dien District Police, shared: The thank you letters from the people sent to the police force show the outstanding results in the fight against crime, preventing and ensuring security and order at the grassroots level. This also demonstrates the awareness and responsibility of the people's police officers who always "Serve the People". These letters are a source of encouragement and motivation for the police force to continue to strive and devote themselves according to the motto "Do a good deed every day for the People".
