The project to upgrade and expand National Highway 753 has a total length of 13km, passing through Tan Thien and Tan Xuan wards in Dong Xoai city and Tan Hung and Tan Phuoc communes in Dong Phu district. According to the approved plan: From Km0+000 to Km2+160, passing through Dong Xoai city, the road will be constructed according to the planned cross-section with a 30m right-of-way, including a 17m road surface width, a 6m curb and sidewalk width, and a 7m unreinforced shoulder width; the section from Km2+160 to Km9+000 has a total roadbed width of 25m, including a 19m road surface width; the section from Km9+000 to Km13+000 has a roadbed width of 22m, including a 19m road surface width. After the road is widened, more than 2,000 plots of land belonging to over 1,500 households will be affected.

Construction package 01, passing through Tan Thien and Tan Xuan wards in Dong Xoai city, has received basic consensus from local residents to hand over the land for the project.

Thanks to effective communication and persuasion efforts regarding the purpose and significance of the project, the majority of residents living along the road have basically agreed with the government's plan to upgrade and expand the road. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung from Phuoc Binh neighborhood, Tan Xuan ward, said: "I and the people here have agreed to hand over the land so that the government can build the road quickly." "The people here are very happy and excited that the road is being upgraded and expanded. The people are ready to hand over the land for the government to build the road," said Ms. Tran Thi Hoai from Phuoc Tan neighborhood, Tan Thien ward.

Leaders of Tan Thien ward discussed the purpose and significance of upgrading and expanding the DT753 road and expressed their hope for the consensus of the people to ensure the project is implemented on schedule.

In Tan Thien ward, approximately 200 households will be affected by the upgrading and expansion of Provincial Road 753. The ward People's Committee has been coordinating with the Dong Xoai City Land Development Center to conduct surveys. Compensation and support procedures will be carried out immediately upon surveying each area to hand over the land to the construction unit as soon as possible. "Basically, the people have agreed with the plan to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 753. They have committed to handing over the land as soon as possible to implement the project," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Vice Chairman of the Tan Thien Ward People's Committee.

Promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles.

To ensure the project is completed and put into use as soon as possible, all four construction packages along the entire route have simultaneously accelerated their progress. Mr. Phan Van Cu, the project manager for construction package 01 of Thanh Liem Co., Ltd., stated: Construction package 01 has a total length of 4km and includes two bridges over the Rat stream. Recently, the contractor mobilized 30 pieces of equipment and machinery to construct two sections of the road. For the bridge area, the unit mobilized over 100 workers divided into many teams working three shifts continuously, working through the night to complete the piling work for the bridge piers on schedule.

According to the project investor's report, the biggest difficulty is the obstruction of technical infrastructure, especially medium and low voltage power lines. The entire route currently has 140 medium voltage poles and 277 low voltage poles that need to be relocated, but to date, the relevant authorities have not yet relocated them to hand over the land to the project investor. Mr. Tran Ngoc Tai, an official from the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, stated: Previously, technical infrastructure facilities were licensed to run along both sides of the route, but relocation is mandatory during expansion. However, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board has repeatedly requested the relevant authorities to relocate them, but they have yet to be done, causing difficulties in the simultaneous implementation of the project. According to the plan, the upgrading and expansion project of Provincial Road 753 will be completed and put into use in June 2025. Therefore, the difficulties and obstacles of the project need to be resolved by the relevant authorities as soon as possible to complete the project on schedule.

The investment in upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 753 aims to gradually complete the road system according to the general plan and the provincial transportation network plan. Once the construction of the Ma Da Bridge is approved, Provincial Road 753 will become a regional connecting route, forming a convenient transportation axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces through Binh Phuoc to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port. Provincial Road 753 is planned as National Highway 13C; therefore, its expansion will facilitate its future upgrade to National Highway 13C.
