Many artists who recently won the 30th Mai Vàng Awards are ready to embark on new projects to achieve even greater success in 2025.

People's Artist Tu Long said that the 30th Mai Vang Award has given him more motivation to work even better in 2025, worthy of the affection that the public and readers have shown him.

Building a team of young actors

Right after Tet, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam will direct a Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) play to graduate from the directing training course he is currently taking at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Film.

"I staged a literary script by playwright Nguyen Dang Chuong - Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Stage Artists. It's the work 'Catching the Demon,' adapted into Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) by playwright Hoang Song Viet. This is a literary theatrical work that contributes to enhancing the aesthetic value for viewers," commented Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam.

In addition, the project of Dai Viet New Cai Luong Theatre is to promote the play "People on the Suburbs" - a performance that won the theatre a silver medal at the 2024 Cai Luong Theatre Festival in Can Tho City.

Meritorious Artist Tú Sương stated that she will continue to mentor younger generations of artists passionate about cải lương (Vietnamese traditional opera). "My new project in 2025 is to stage historical cải lương plays, thereby helping younger artists affirm their position and continue their careers. According to director Hong Ngoc, the Mai Vang Award recognized the efforts of the Youth Theatre's collective and provided her with great motivation to strive to stage higher-quality plays, as well as to continue building a team of young actors. In 2025, in addition to entertaining plays, the Youth Theatre will stage plays with a strong literary quality to serve the school stage.

As early as 2024, singer SOOBIN Hoang Son began planning for 2025. "SOOBIN is preparing to release an EP this year. In addition, a solo concert in 2025 is also a major goal that SOOBIN will strive to achieve," SOOBIN expressed.
