Heavy pressure on singer Soobin Hoang Son

Soobin admitted that he felt a lot of pressure when leading the top 11 "All-Rookies" through 100 days of training and 5 performances against international groups.

On the afternoon of September 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, the new phase of the reality TV show Rookie All-Around kicked off with the appearance of the Top 11 and the all-around producer Soobin - the instructor and trainer of the contestants in the final stage.

Top 11 includes Ho Dong Quan, Bach Hong Cuong, Le Pham Minh Quan, Thai Le Minh Hieu, Nguyen Huu Son, Le Duy Lan, Ta Hoang Long, Do Minh Tan, Dang Duc Duy, Nguyen Lam Anh and Nguyen Thanh Phuc Nguyen.

After the first Project 100% , part 2 includes 100 training days, 5 performance nights and 1 final night. The program will air every Saturday from October 4th.

According to the format, the rookie lineup will interact and learn through "matches" with international groups from Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China), and Thailand. This is an important stepping stone, helping the rookies gain experience and improve their stage presence before their official debut.

The producer representative revealed that the first two performances will feature two bands that are loved by Vietnamese audiences. Although it is called a "competition", the goal is not to determine who is better, the international guests are the standard for the rookie group to strive towards.

At first, the crew was worried that the new recruits would be at a disadvantage, but all 11 members tried their best and practiced diligently. 100 days of training is not long, but with the effort to overcome difficulties, the new recruits have transformed.

The new stage rules are interesting as each performance gradually reveals the final lineup. If the rookie group wins, they will receive individual points at different levels. If they lose, the rookies can have their achievements frozen and be eliminated.

The number of debut group members is not fixed, but there will be 1 position voted by the audience for the National Idol award. Voting is open from the first episode (October 4) to December 13 - the final recording night.

Soobin is under a lot of pressure with his new role.

Soobin shared that he felt a lot of pressure when he was given the responsibility of leading 11 rookies to "fight" with an international group. He grasped the psychology of each rookie, analyzed their strengths, weaknesses, potentials and gave appropriate guidance.

The goal he is looking for for his debut group is to find modern, youthful, professional faces, contributing to reviving the boyband model and bringing Vietnamese music to the international arena. Commenting on the 11 members, Soobin is proud to have 11 talented and hard-working younger brothers.

The producer said that with the goal of building a national music group on a professional path, 11 rookies have signed contracts with the producer to make their dreams come true.

At the launch, two companion programs of the "ecosystem" of the All-Around Rookie , All-Around Assistant and Trip with You, were scheduled to air in 2026.

The Almighty Assistant is an interactive reality show where the audience directly decides the "script" as they act as assistants to rookies. The Journey With You will show the everyday side of the official group through overseas exploration trips.
