The CJ 2025 short film project returns.

Entering its 6th season, the CJ Short Film Project, organized by CGV Vietnam in collaboration with the CJ Cultural Foundation of Korea, is themed "Expanding the Frame, Shining Brightly," offering filmmaking opportunities with funding up to 1.5 billion VND and financial support for participation in international film festivals.

Joining the judging panel this year are familiar faces from season 5, including producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, directors Phan Dang Di, Trinh Dinh Le Minh, and Tran Thanh Huy. Notably, this season also features the addition of director Charlie Nguyen.

Applications will be accepted until July 20th, including: an application form, a detailed outline, a production plan, and one short film/feature film directed or written by the applicant, made within the last three years.

After the preliminary round, the top 10 projects will participate in the presentation round (scheduled for August 6-8) to select the 5 best projects. In addition to funding for filmmaking and participation in international film festivals, young directors will also participate in intensive training courses with Vietnamese and Korean film experts.

The CJ Short Film Project was initiated in 2018. From this project, many films have been produced and won top awards at leading film festivals around the world : Cannes, Venice, and Berlin.
