CJ Short Film Project 2025 Returns

Entering season 6, the CJ Short Film Project organized by CGV Vietnam in collaboration with the CJ Korea Cultural Foundation with the theme "Expanding the frame, reaching out brilliantly" offers filmmaking opportunities with a funding fund of up to 1.5 billion VND and financial support to attend international film festivals.

This year's judging panel continues to include familiar faces from season 5, including producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, directors Phan Dang Di, Trinh Dinh Le Minh, and Tran Thanh Huy. Notably, this season also sees the addition of director Charlie Nguyen.

The program will accept applications until July 20, including: application form, detailed outline, production plan, along with 1 short film/feature film directed or written by the contestant, made within the last 3 years.

After the preliminary round, the top 10 projects will participate in the presentation round (scheduled for August 6) to select the 5 best projects. In addition to financial support for filmmaking and participation in international film festivals, young directors will also participate in an intensive training course with Vietnamese and Korean film experts.

The CJ short film project was initiated in 2018. From this project, many films have been produced and won high awards at the world's leading film festivals: Cannes, Venice, Berlin.
