Affirming its position as a tourism hub.
The merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces has expanded the tourism development space, diversifying tours and tourism products. The province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have organized many large-scale cultural and entertainment events to promote the image of Khanh Hoa and stimulate tourism. The most notable is the "Nha Trang Say Hi" music festival. Businesses have also invested in many new and attractive tourism products. Vinpearl Nha Trang launched the "Essence of a Hundred Arts" show; the Nha Trang Theater presented the Chum Show; and the Nha Trang Ancient Craft Village presented the "Legendary Light" live performance. Notably, the Holdings Tourism Area organized the La Tien Show - The Coi music night at Trong Dong Square (Libera Nha Trang complex), attracting nearly 7,000 attendees. Tourism businesses have also introduced many new products such as tours exploring Nha Trang Bay by yacht. The difficulties in receiving cruise ships have been resolved, with 26 cruise ships bringing nearly 30,000 tourists ashore for sightseeing. Besides Cam Ranh International Port, Ana Marina Nha Trang yacht harbor welcomed cruise tourists for the first time, creating further impetus for the development of this new type of tourism... Along with efforts to diversify products, the province and the tourism industry have organized many promotional activities to attract tourists from China, South Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan... and potential markets such as Australia and Japan... As a result, tourism activities have achieved quite impressive results.

According to the report from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2025, the province is expected to welcome 16.4 million visitors, an increase of nearly 14.4% compared to 2024, including 5.5 million international visitors, an increase of over 13.4%. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 66.7 trillion VND, an increase of over 16.8% compared to 2024, achieving 100% of the target. These figures affirm that Khanh Hoa tourism continues to maintain its position as one of the leading tourism centers in Vietnam. "Attractive products, intensified promotion and advertising efforts, and the organization of many national and international-level cultural and entertainment events have helped Khanh Hoa become an unmissable destination for domestic and international tourists. Khanh Hoa has experienced good growth in both visitor numbers and tourism revenue in 2025," said Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Creating momentum for a breakthrough.
With strong growth momentum and positive signals from key international tourist markets, Khanh Hoa's tourism industry is heading into the new year with even greater success. In 2026, the province's tourism sector aims to achieve revenue of 77,073 billion VND, an increase of 15.6%; a total of over 18.1 million visitors, an increase of 10.6%, including over 6 million international visitors, an increase of 9.6% compared to 2025.
To achieve that goal, the province and the tourism industry have planned to organize many attractive tourism events and programs to serve tourists. In January, the My Hoa - Khanh Hoa International Kiteboarding Competition 2026 will be held in Vinh Hai commune, followed by a series of cultural and tourism events during the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse). The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also advising on the organization of many major events such as: the Nha Trang International Bay of Light Festival 2026; the Nha Trang Beach Tourism Festival 2026; and a series of activities and events in response to the "National Tourism Year 2026"... Tourism promotion and advertising activities will also continue to be strengthened, especially in key markets.

In particular, the provincial tourism sector will focus on implementing the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Development Strategy for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045. At the workshop "Khanh Hoa Tourism - A Growth Pole Driving Economic Pillars" held at the end of December 2025, tourism experts agreed that: With its strategic location and diverse tourism resources, Khanh Hoa has a historic opportunity to become a national growth pole and rise to the top group of destinations in Southeast Asia. However, to achieve this goal, tourism development needs to go hand in hand with modern planning, smart management, resource conservation, and improved tourism service quality. Implementing the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Development Strategy for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045, is an opportunity to elevate Khanh Hoa's tourism in the coming years.

Tourism is gradually asserting its position as a pillar of Khanh Hoa's economy. The goals for 2026, while a significant challenge, also present an opportunity for the tourism industry to solidify its position in the province's economic landscape, as well as on the Vietnamese tourism map. "The South Korean market is stable, and the Chinese and Russian markets are projected to grow well. Markets in Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan (China)... are expanding. We believe that major cultural and entertainment events organized by the province, and new tourism products invested in by businesses, will satisfy both domestic and international tourists visiting Khanh Hoa," shared Mr. Pham Minh Nhut, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association.
