(NLDO) - On January 8, in Phu Quoc City ( Kien Giang Province), the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to summarize the implementation of the Project "Propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard for the period 2019 - 2023".
At the conference, the center's report and the opinions of the speakers unanimously affirmed that over the past 5 years of implementing the project to propagate and disseminate the Law on Coast Guard, there have been many synchronous, creative, specific and scientific policies and measures.
By flexibly applying forms of propaganda and dissemination of legaleducation ; effectively exploiting social media platforms and using applications of artificial intelligence technology suitable for each locality, target group and COVID-19 epidemic situation, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 has achieved many outstanding and encouraging results.

These efforts have contributed to quickly bringing the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard into life, becoming a solid legal foundation and basis for the Vietnam Coast Guard in general and the Regional Command in particular to well perform their assigned functions, tasks and powers.
Notably, the unit has thoroughly grasped and seriously and fully implemented documents from superiors; closely coordinated with Party committees, authorities, organizations, departments, unions, and armed forces in the area to develop plans and guide the implementation of the project in accordance with regulations.

In addition, the Regional Command has regularly done a good job of inspection, urging, and drawing lessons; innovated the content and form of propaganda methods in the direction of " focusing on the grassroots, directly on the field "; replicated good models, creative and effective methods such as: Combining propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard in implementing the mass mobilization program " Coast Guard accompanies fishermen "; the contest " I love the sea and islands of my homeland " in both direct and online forms; propaganda through the internal broadcasting system of localities and social platforms on cyberspace.
Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Dung, Political Commissar of the Regional Command, acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results and achievements that agencies and units have achieved over 5 years of implementing the project.

In the coming time, Major General Nguyen Van Dung requested that Party committees and commanders at all levels continue to promote the dissemination and popularization of the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard, along with documents and instructions from superiors to officers, soldiers and people in the area, in conjunction with effectively implementing the Project " Promoting the role of the People's Army in participating in the dissemination and education of law, mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level for the period 2021 - 2027 ".
Regularly coordinate closely with local agencies, departments and organizations; promote the dynamic and creative role of legal reporters and propagandists at all levels in innovating and diversifying forms of propaganda, ensuring flexibility, creativity and suitability for each locality and target audience.
Thereby, contributing to raising awareness, sense of law compliance and participation in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new situation for all classes of people.
