The architectural highlight of the pagoda is the 30m high statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, built in 2013. The abbot of Son Thanh pagoda is Venerable Thich Khong Giai, who has been attached to and doing Buddhist work here for more than 10 years. In the sacred place of Buddha, people from different ethnic groups and cultures live together in harmony, solidarity and together turn towards the compassionate light of Buddhism.
