Boat racing on Thach Han River

Author Thanh Le submitted her video " Boat Race on the Thach Han River " to the " Happy Vietnam 2025 " Award . The video was filmed in Ai Tu commune, Quang Tri province, Quang Tri ward, Quang Tri city, Vietnam.

With a spirit of fair and noble sportsmanship , the teams competed fiercely, employing clever boat maneuvering and acrobatic tactics, showcasing spectacular breakthroughs to the rhythmic drumming and rowing of the athletes, and the cheers of the crowd, making the festival atmosphere even more vibrant and lively. At the end, the winning team rejoiced while the losing team felt regret, but regardless of the outcome, this was a cultural festival, a place for interaction between teams. Everyone joined in the joyful and enthusiastic festival. That is the soul and essence of the people of Quang Tri province.

We invite readers and photographers from Vietnam and abroad to continue submitting their photos and videos to participate in the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award . The award is organized by... The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television organized . Thereby, to continue to introduce and promote the image of the country, Vietnamese people, cultural and natural values across the country; arouse national pride and aspirations for development in all classes of Vietnamese people to join hands to build Vietnam to be increasingly prosperous, prosperous and happy.

Submission deadline: From May 22, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Entries can be submitted online at : https://happy.vietnam.vn

Eligible participants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above.

The awards consist of two categories: photos and videos.

Each competition category (photos and videos) will have one First Prize worth VND 50,000,000, two Second Prizes worth VND 30,000,000, three Third Prizes worth VND 15,000,000, ten Consolation Prizes worth VND 5,000,000, and one Most Voted Award worth VND 5,000,000.

The organizers encourage and will award a creative prize of VND 20,000,000 in each category (photos and videos) to works with new and creative ideas in terms of content and presentation.

In addition, the organizing committee will award monthly prizes, including first, second, and third prizes, to the works with the highest number of votes in each category each month.

The judging panel selected the winners through two rounds of preliminary and final judging, conducted both online and in person.
