Not to mention, the teachers are the same age as the students' parents and are the ones directly teaching them.

This is not the first instance of teachers being insulted. Previously, there have been numerous incidents of parents assaulting teachers, and parents humiliating teachers by forcing them to kneel and apologize. This shows that the teaching profession is currently a dangerous one, as some have argued. In a school environment, a cultural environment supposedly full of humanity and compassion, such incidents occur, leaving teachers deeply saddened!

To ensure that the teacher-student relationship truly reflects the spirit of "respecting teachers and valuing education," it needs to be addressed through the relationship between the school, family, and society.

As a civics teacher, I believe that in each lesson, we shouldn't just teach theoretical knowledge like "What does it mean to love humanity? What does it mean to respect others?" The important thing is to use real-life examples, stories from life, or books like "Seeds of the Soul" to educate students about moral and legal standards.

Furthermore, the school and teachers not only focus on teaching knowledge but also, through extracurricular activities, experiential education, career guidance, arts and culture, sports, and club activities, educate students in life skills and values, fostering their qualities and abilities in accordance with the goals and requirements of the 2018 General Education Program. In addition, social and political organizations such as the Trade Union, Youth Union, Veterans Association, and Women's Association always cooperate with the school in educating the students.

In particular, the family is the home of children, and parents need to play an active role in nurturing their children's souls, through their words and actions, especially through their respectful attitude towards teachers.

Let's all work together to educate our children, hoping to shape their character so that heartbreaking incidents like the one in Tuyen Quang where students threw sandals and cornered a teacher will no longer happen.
