Ederson paves the way to Saudi Arabia.

The Brazilian goalkeeper is in negotiations to join Al Ittihad in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Foot Mercato reports that Al Ittihad has identified Ederson as one of its top targets in its squad overhaul plans for next season. Under manager Laurent Blanc, the club is looking for quality players to compete for domestic and international titles.

Previously, British media reported that Ederson was among those being considered for transfer by Man City after an unsuccessful season. The 31-year-old goalkeeper has made 365 appearances for the Manchester club since joining in 2017. He played a crucial role in the club's success, including winning the Premier League and the Champions League.

Besides Al Ittihad, Ederson has also been linked with Fenerbahce, the team managed by Jose Mourinho.

To replace Ederson, Pep Guardiola is considering signing Diogo Costa from Porto. Costa's agent, "super agent" Jorge Mendes, has played a key role in the negotiations recently.

Costa has a €75 million release clause at Porto. If Manchester United cannot persuade Porto to lower the price, they will be forced to pay that amount.

Along with Ederson, Bernardo Silva could also leave Man City. According to Sport , the midfielder has expressed a desire to join the Catalan club. However, Barcelona faces financial obstacles in signing Silva.
