Elon Musk is touching.

Liv Perrotto, a resilient 15-year-old battling cancer, had long dreamed of meeting billionaire Elon Musk. Just days before her death, Liv had the opportunity to speak on the phone with the SpaceX CEO, but due to health issues, she had to ask to call back later.

Sadly, Liv didn't have the strength to wait for that call. Before she passed away in January, she left a handwritten note by her bedside with eight questions specifically for billionaire Musk, as a final message about her unfulfilled wishes.

Hoping to fulfill her daughter's wish, Rebecca Perrotto, Liv's mother, shared the list on social media through commentator Glenn Beck. Beck then posted the story on social media, attracting nearly 2 million views and tens of thousands of interactions.

According to her family, Liv spent a great deal of time researching Elon Musk's technology projects. Her questions covered a wide range of topics, from Tesla technology and her passion for Japanese anime to her own creative design ideas for the Polaris Dawn space mission.

On April 19th, Elon Musk directly responded to a post on X. He not only gave a brief answer but also delved into each of the 15-year-old girl's questions. Regarding technology, Musk stated that he has no plans to produce a phone yet but will soon launch a Tesla Diner restaurant model. He also revealed his personal preferences, stating that his favorite anime is Your Name and that he loves Japanese culture.

Besides technical questions, Musk also showed empathy when answering more personal questions. He confirmed knowing the virtual singer Hatsune Miku and shared fond memories of the city of Kyoto.

This interaction has received millions of views and shares. Many social media users expressed their emotion at the man's kind act towards the young fan.

The most notable highlight of this indirect dialogue is about "Asteroid"—a Shiba Inu plush dog designed by Liv herself. Liv hopes this dog will become the mascot for SpaceX's future missions.

In response to this request, Musk simply wrote, "Okay," followed by a smiley face emoji, officially confirming the inclusion of the girl's design in the space program.

This act not only served as a comfort to the Perrotto family but also cemented Liv's legacy as part of SpaceX's history.

For Rebecca, the SpaceX CEO's replies were invaluable comfort, even though her daughter could no longer witness this moment firsthand. "I wish she could be here to see this," she wrote directly to Elon Musk on social media.
