After more than a decade since the first issue was published on March 26, 2013, Esquire Vietnam officially returned in September 2025 with a new look. The event not only marked the revival of an iconic brand but also opened a new chapter, where Esquire Vietnam accompanies Vietnamese men on the journey of defining their style, asserting their bravery and expanding their global perspective.
The launching ceremony took place on September 19, 2025 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Ho Chi Minh City. The event gathered many guests from many fields, marking an important milestone in the new journey of the special issue in Vietnam.
An Esquire magazine with a long history
Arnold Gingrich, David A. Smart and Henry L. Jackson founded Esquire magazine in 1933 in Chicago, USA. Initially, the magazine focused on men's fashion , lifestyle, culture and entertainment. In a short time, Esquire became one of the most famous men's publications in America.
Many famous writers have written for Esquire, including Ernest Hemingway, whose short stories appeared in Esquire as early as the 1930s. F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of The Great Gatsby , and William Faulkner, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, both had articles and short stories published in the magazine…
For nearly a century, Esquire has been both a place to express men's lifestyle and a forum for the pinnacle of literature and journalism, featuring the works of the greatest writers of the 20th century. Today, Esquire remains one of the world 's most iconic magazines on men's culture, fashion, style and philosophy. Currently, Esquire is present in 20 countries, with 200 publications and 175 websites, reaching 141 million global readers each month. Vietnam is the 22nd country with the presence of Esquire.
First launched in 2013, Esquire Vietnam ’s cover faces have always represented the modern gentleman. The magazine was then available on three platforms: print, website and iPad, and at the same time created a separate community through the Esky Club series of activities, a meeting place for elite men. After 5 years of operation, Esquire Vietnam is taking a break to wait for a more suitable time.

In 2025, Vietnam has been growing strongly on the regional and global economic map. This is the right time for Esquire Vietnam to return, standing shoulder to shoulder with other Esquire publications in the region such as Esquire Singapore, Esquire Thailand ... With the spirit of preserving the core of a brand with a global history, while localizing content and form, Esquire Vietnam wishes to reflect the new image of Vietnamese men, optimistic, creative and confident in the process of building Vietnam stronger than ever.
New look of Esquire Vietnam
Returning with a new look, Esquire Vietnam will bring practical, engaging and visual content. The special issue targets men from 30 to 50 years old, with aesthetic taste, modern thinking and a desire to improve the quality of life .
They are men who love fashion, style, travel, cuisine, culture and exquisite experiences. For them, Esquire Vietnam is a companion, providing insight and inspiration on the journey of self-discovery and self-reflection.
Each special issue will feature in-depth stories in the form of interviews, analysis, feature articles and practical guides, ensuring international standards, but still closely linked to Vietnamese identity. Keeping with tradition, Esquire Vietnam will also feature veteran writers and authors, such as writer Le Hoang in this September issue.
In the first issue, readers will meet 35 influential figures in many fields of activity in Vietnam today, from information technology, business to sports, music, and cinema... Choosing to honor these figures is Esquire Vietnam's way of inspiring the public, to prove that achievements will come when we have passion and persistent effort.
Notably, Esquire Vietnam has chosen actor Lien Binh Phat as the first cover face for this re-issue. His journey is a story of perseverance and courage: from an amateur actor to asserting his position in cinema and art. The image of Lien Binh Phat on the cover of Esquire Vietnam marks a new chapter of the specialty, while also conveying a message about the modern man - daring to take risks, confident and constantly asserting his courage.
Esquire Vietnam is available in both print and digital formats. In addition to the print edition published quarterly in March, June, September and December, there is also a website www.esquire.vn. Along with the website and print edition, the magazine is also present on social networks Facebook and Instagram, gradually forming a multi-channel media network. Social networks are not simply a place for readers to update trends, but also a space for communication and community connection, creating a dynamic and close ecosystem./.
