AP reported that G7 leaders expressed support for the preliminary agreement between the US and Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and extend the fragile ceasefire...
Concluding the three-day G7 summit on June 17, French President Emmanuel Macron said it was a "very good deal," adding that US allies in the G7 group supported it because "this agreement helps to end the serious instability that is having terrible consequences for our economies ."

According to the leaked draft agreement, Iran would immediately take steps to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, through which one-fifth of the world 's oil and natural gas normally passes, immediately after the agreement is signed. Iran would also be allowed to sell its oil without restrictions. Officials said the leaked text essentially matched the official document.
The agreement, expected to be formally signed in a ceremony in Switzerland on June 19, stipulates that the U.S. will end all U.S. and UN sanctions imposed on Tehran if a final agreement is reached on Iran's nuclear program.
The agreement also calls for an immediate end to all fighting between Israel and Iranian-backed Hezbollah forces in Lebanon. Iran insists that Israel must withdraw its troops from Lebanon under the agreement, but Israel maintains it will remain in the territories it controls in Lebanon.
"I think it will all be over. They (Iran) want to sign a deal. They want to go back to normal life," Trump said.
Reportedly, G7 leaders concluded their formal talks at the summit with discussions on the future of artificial intelligence and boosting economic growth.
