The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the thinnest flagship of 2025.

According to expert Ice Universe, who is known for providing reliable information, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be thinner and lighter than both the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL is known to be 8.5 mm thick and weigh 221g. Therefore, users can expect the upcoming Galaxy flagship to be around 8.4 mm thick and weigh under 220g. Compared to its predecessor, the S25 Ultra, it will feel lighter and more comfortable to hold.

Recently, leaker Digital Chat Station posted render images of the Samsung S25 Ultra. According to these images, the device has a completely flat design – a significant design change, as the upcoming Galaxy flagship may resemble recent Meizu devices with flat edges and slightly more rounded corners compared to the S24 Ultra.

Sources previously revealed that the S25 Ultra would utilize a quad-camera system on the back. These cameras would include a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. Both telephoto cameras would feature PDAF and OIS. The phone is also rumored to use a new version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor for the ultrawide camera, which would have a 50MP resolution.

Reportedly, the product may launch exclusively with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, some sources suggest that Samsung may release two versions, one using the Exynos 2500.

Additionally, Samsung will retain the same 5,000 mAh battery capacity as the Galaxy S models for the S25 Ultra and support 45W wired fast charging technology.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come pre-installed with the OneUI 7 user interface based on Android 15 upon release.
