At Battalion 1, the Arts Club was organized for members who share a common interest and passion for music . The club has inspired and fostered the passion and talent of the soldiers, effectively serving the unit's cultural and artistic activities, competitions, and exchange programs. The key members of the club not only develop their potential, strengths, and talents but also hone their character, soft skills, and confidence when speaking in front of a group.
Sergeant Nguyen Huu Sang, a trainee in Company 2, Battalion 1, and a member of the club, shared: “After adjusting to the learning and training environment, I and some comrades who share a passion for culture and arts joined the club. After each strenuous training session on the training ground, we happily sing and play for our comrades to enjoy. In unit activities, we get to showcase our talents and fully express our passion. Each performance is an opportunity for us to hone our skills, dynamism, and sociability in the military environment.”
Group singing and dancing activities are also enthusiastically organized through festivals, competitions, and art exchange programs. Along with the task of education and training, and upholding traditions, generations of officers, lecturers, and students have raised their voices in song, enriching the cultural and spiritual life, helping soldiers strengthen their resolve and brighten their faith after each arduous march and training period. From group singing and dancing activities in the student units, the school discovers, expands, and nurtures talented individuals in the arts who participate in competitions with high results, thereby stimulating the development of the cultural and artistic movement.
