Garnacho played poorly amid rumors of leaving MU.

Alejandro Garnacho was unable to help Manchester United avoid a 0-1 defeat against the ASEAN All Stars in an international friendly match on May 28th.

Garnacho was brought on by coach Ruben Amorim in the second half, playing in his preferred left wing position. The Argentinian midfielder had at least two shots on goal against the ASEAN All Stars, but failed to find the back of the net.

Against the solid defense of the ASEAN All Stars, Garnacho also failed to create many breakthrough opportunities. The same was true for Amad Diallo on the opposite flank. In the center, Chido Obi-Martin replaced Rasmus Hojlund but also failed to score against the opponent's tight defense.
