Oil prices surge

TTH.VN - Following the adjustment by the inter-ministerial committee of Finance and Industry and Trade, the prices of some petroleum products have increased sharply by 1,600 to over 1,800 VND/liter.

Specifically, from 3 PM on August 11th, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 30 VND/liter, to 22,820 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 30 VND/liter, to 23,990 VND/liter.

  Meanwhile, the prices of petroleum products increased sharply, with diesel rising by 1,810 VND/liter to 22,420 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 1,610 VND/liter to 21,880 VND/liter.

During this price adjustment period, the inter-ministerial committee did not allocate funds to the fuel price stabilization fund, nor did it utilize the fund for most fuel products.

  In the price adjustment on August 1st, RON 95 gasoline was priced at 23,960 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 gasoline at 22,790 VND/liter; diesel fuel at 20,610 VND/liter; kerosene at 20,270 VND/liter; and fuel oil at 16,530 VND/liter.
