The numerous upgrades on the iPhone 15 Pro duo could lead to increased production costs. As a result, Apple will be forced to raise the device's selling price.
Leaked information from the supply chain reveals that the selling price of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will increase by $100-200 compared to their predecessors. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus versions will retain their original prices.

Specifically, the iPhone 15 Pro will be sold at a starting price of $1,099, an increase of $100 compared to the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro Max version will have a starting price of $1,299, $200 higher than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Analyst Tim Long from Barclays says the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope lens, enabling 6x optical zoom without sacrificing image quality.
Notably, this upgrade will not appear on the other iPhone 15 models. The expert believes that the periscope lens will increase the cost of materials for manufacturing the iPhone 15 Pro Max by at least $50.
Previous leaks also indicated that the iPhone 15 Pro duo would feature a range of improvements, including a titanium frame, thinner screen bezels, a USB-C charging port, the new A17 Bionic chip, and WiFi 6E technology.
All these additions will increase production costs, forcing the company to raise product prices. If the information is accurate, this would be the first time Apple has increased the price of its high-end iPhone models since the iPhone X was launched in 2017.
In the recently released iOS 17 Beta 4 update, users have discovered some special code snippets. These snippets indicate that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with a brand new Action button.

According to MacRumors, this Action button will likely function similarly to the Action button on the Apple Watch Ultra. However, it will integrate more features to better suit smartphones.
Specifically, the Action key is said to allow users to access features such as accessibility, shortcuts, sound mode, camera, flashlight, focus mode, magnifying glass, translation, and voice recording.
Depending on the settings, users can quickly access various utilities without having to unlock the device. This feature is expected to be available only on Pro versions.
