According to the International Pepper Association (IPC) on the morning of January 7, 2026, the world pepper export price update today shows new fluctuations from the Indonesian market. Prices in other markets remained stable compared to yesterday's trading session.

Specifically, the price of Lampung black pepper from Indonesia was listed at $6,751 per ton, down 0.15% ($10 per ton) from the previous day.

Similarly, the price of Indonesian Muntok white pepper also decreased by 0.13% (US$12/ton) compared to the previous day, to US$9,190/ton.

Meanwhile, Brazilian pepper prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, Brazilian pepper is trading at $6,000 per ton.

Vietnamese white pepper prices remained unchanged today, staying high at $9,250 per ton.

Vietnamese black pepper prices (500 gr/l) remained unchanged compared to yesterday, at $6,500 per ton. Vietnamese black pepper (550 gr/l) reached $6,700 per ton.

In Malaysia, the price of ASTA black pepper is currently stable at US$9,000/ton. The price of ASTA white pepper in this market today reached US$12,300/ton, unchanged from yesterday.

Meanwhile, domestic pepper prices today (January 7th) surged sharply by 1,000 - 1,500 VND/kg. Currently, domestic pepper prices range from 150,000 - 152,500 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai , the price of pepper today is trading at 151,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND compared to yesterday.

With a similar increase of 1,000 VND/kg, Dong Nai is currently trading pepper at 150,000 VND/kg, the lowest price nationwide today.

In Ho Chi Minh City today, pepper is trading at 151,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,500 VND compared to yesterday.

In Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces, pepper prices surged by 1,500 VND/kg, with traders buying pepper this morning at 152,500 VND/kg. This is the highest price nationwide today.
