On November 8, billionaire Elon Musk's Tesla (USA) company recorded an 8.2% increase in stock price, thereby raising the company's market capitalization to 1,000 billion USD.

After the media announced on November 6 that Donald Trump won the US presidential election, Tesla shares increased by about 28% in 3 days, according to Forbes. Reaching 1,000 billion USD also puts Tesla in the same group of trillion-dollar businesses such as Nvidia, Apple or Microsoft. Tesla first reached this milestone in October 2021.
Musk was one of Trump’s closest allies during the campaign, spending at least $130 million on activities supporting the former president. Investors believe a Trump return to the White House could benefit Tesla.
