Gold prices are volatile, and fuel prices are rising across the board.

Over the past week (April 21-25), gold prices fluctuated significantly. At one point at the beginning of the week, the price of SJC gold bars reached 124 million VND/ounce for the selling price, breaking all previous records. However, by the end of the week, gold prices tended to fall, with SJC gold bars settling at 120.5 million VND/ounce for the selling price.

Meanwhile, over the past week, the prices of all types of gasoline and diesel have increased. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 740 VND/liter, reaching 19,238 VND/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by 782 VND/liter, reaching 19,638 VND/liter. The price of diesel increased by 487 VND/liter, reaching 17,524 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 531 VND/liter, reaching 17,715 VND/liter; and mazut increased by 564 VND/kg, reaching 16,524 VND/kg.

At first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, and Phuong Lam (Tan Phu district), the prices of many food items are quite stable. Specifically, pork belly costs 150-180 thousand VND/kg, beef fillet from 280-300 thousand VND/kg, red snapper from 65-75 thousand VND/kg, shrimp (grade I) from 180-250 thousand VND/kg, and chicken and duck eggs (grade I) from 25-35 thousand VND/dozen…

According to the Dong Nai Market Management Department, the price of live pigs in localities throughout the province last week was generally in the range of 66-76 thousand VND/kg.
