E10 fuel compatible with current vehicle models sold in Vietnam — Fuel prices decreased from 4 PM on July 2nd, with E5RON92 gasoline experiencing the sharpest drop.

In this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to allocate funds for price stabilization, but only to establish a fuel price stabilization fund for specific fuel types at the following rates: Biofuel 200 VND/liter; diesel 200 VND/liter; fuel oil 400 VND/kg.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade requires ensuring the supply of E10 and E5 bioethanol fuel nationwide.The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development requires key businesses to proactively secure supplies and absolutely not allow any disruption in the supply of E10 and E5RON92 gasoline.

Accordingly, the selling prices of commonly consumed petroleum products on the market are as follows: E5RON92 gasoline will not exceed 19,730 VND/liter, a decrease of 1,055 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price, and 685 VND/liter lower than E10RON95-III gasoline; E10RON95-III gasoline will not exceed 20,415 VND/liter, a decrease of 788 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price; 0.05S diesel oil will not exceed 21,176 VND/liter, a decrease of 690 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price; 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will not exceed 14,053 VND/kg, a decrease of 977 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the fulfillment of responsibilities by petroleum traders in ensuring the supply of petroleum products to the market and will strictly handle any violations (if any). In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance are continuing to closely monitor market developments to announce appropriate and timely petroleum prices, and to promptly propose solutions to stabilize petroleum prices to the Government and the Prime Minister .
