Regaining light for premature babies
Born prematurely at 26 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 900 grams, this 3-week-old baby girl was diagnosed by doctors at Dak Lak General Hospital as being at risk of blindness due to premature birth. She was admitted and treated for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) at Children's Hospital 1, Ho Chi Minh City. She is one of dozens of premature babies being treated for retinopathy of prematurity.
