- The current book market offers a wealth of excellent and beneficial books, like a vibrant garden, especially those for young readers. Book lovers and children alike can find works that suit their interests, as well as titles that convey valuable, inspiring, and humane messages.
In recent years, many organizations and individuals have been tirelessly "sowing the seeds of reading culture" in communities from cities to rural areas. Publishers, book publishers, and the media, including newspapers and social networks, have actively introduced and disseminated valuable works to book lovers near and far. These efforts have, to varying degrees, spread a positive and effective spirit for the development of reading culture.
* What suggestions do you have to help children access and love books in an era where they prefer using phones and tablets to watch YouTube?
- The key concern is how we can help children "befriend" books. This is probably a worry for many adults and parents. To cultivate generations of young children who love to read, adults need to patiently set a good example and help their children every day.
To encourage children to pick up a book and read, they need the guidance and encouragement of adults in the family. I think parents are the first to guide and choose good books for their children and read with them. At school, teachers should increase the number of reading lessons, book appreciation competitions, and the search for "reading culture ambassadors" among their peers to ensure students are constantly exposed to books.
Cultural centers, children's centers, and public libraries can regularly organize workshops, storytelling sessions, painting activities, and creative writing sessions inspired by outstanding works, encouraging children to read in a playful and creative spirit.
