Typical examples include the "Heritage Journey 4.0" model from Hoan Long Primary and Secondary School (Hoan Long commune); the "Water-Powered Vehicle" model from Nhu Quynh Primary School (Nhu Quynh commune); and the model of the Earth's surface from Pham Ngu Lao Primary and Secondary School (Luong Bang commune)... These products demonstrate the creative thinking and ability of students to apply knowledge to practice, even at the primary school level.

According to Pham Dong Thuy, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province, the "STEM Festival" is organized to create an intellectual playground, ignite a passion for science and creativity among students, thereby promoting innovation in teaching methods towards developing students' qualities and abilities through practical experiential activities.

Furthermore, the event is a professional activity, a concrete step in implementing the major policies of the Party and the State, especially Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; and Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. In this context, STEM education serves as a crucial bridge between schools and practice, between knowledge and application, and between education and sustainable development.

To ensure the effectiveness of STEM activities at the primary school level, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province requested that professional clusters and schools continue to demonstrate passion and creativity in organizing thematic workshops that are substantive and effective.

Following the administrative merger, Hung Yen province currently has nearly 200 primary schools; 255 primary and lower secondary schools; and 8 primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools. Over the past period, the Education sector has implemented many creative and meaningful activities such as incorporating traditional arts into schools, applying artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning, STEM education, life skills, and traffic safety competitions at all levels. Diversifying experiential activities and linking knowledge with practice not only helps students develop creative thinking and the ability to apply knowledge but also fosters qualities and competencies required by the new general education program, contributing to improving the overall quality of education in the locality.
