Immediately after the final whistle of the Champions League final against Inter Milan on the morning of June 1st, Donnarumma couldn't hold back his tears. He shared: "Those are the tears of an entire season that we've been through. We were almost eliminated from the Champions League when Manchester City were 2-0 down. But from that moment, we started a race to come back. Now, PSG are enjoying the fruits of their labor after having a fantastic season."

In PSG's 5-0 victory over Inter, Donnarumma kept a clean sheet. He made two saves and completed six accurate long passes.

When asked about winning the championship against an Italian team, Donnarumma said: "When you play for the national team, you have your whole country behind you. The tension in matches like that is much higher. Every final is important and emotional. But bringing victory to your country means so much more."

At the age of 26, Donnarumma boasts an impressive collection of titles. At club level, he has won the Ligue 1 four times, the French Cup twice, and the French Super Cup three times with PSG. The goalkeeper has also won the Italian Super Cup once.

At the national team level, Donnarumma won Euro 2020 with Italy. These achievements confirm his talent and dedication at all levels of competition.

Donnarumma has left open the possibility of leaving PSG on a free transfer in the summer of 2026 to find a more financially viable destination. Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly ready to bring Donnarumma back to Italy.
