Thanks to the efforts of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in mobilizing people to participate in security and order movements, thousands of valuable pieces of information have been provided to law enforcement agencies. This has helped the police handle many cases, making a significant contribution to maintaining security and order and stabilizing people's lives.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Kiet, Deputy Head of the District 8 Police Department (Ho Chi Minh City), said that in recent years, the district police force, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in the district, has implemented many highly effective models. Among them, the "5+1" model, implemented 10 years ago, stands out. This model aims to manage, rehabilitate, and educate those who have gone astray, and to support them with means of livelihood. According to Mr. Kiet, District 8 regularly organizes meetings, provides encouragement and support, and gives gifts to those who have made mistakes. As a result, more than 400 people in District 8 have received support to improve their lives.
Besides the "5+1" model, a similar model is also being implemented in District 8: the "Management, rehabilitation, education, and assistance for offenders in the community" model. Although it has only been implemented for about a year, this model is currently providing assistance to approximately 1,200 people.
Discussing the security and order movement in the area, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City) said that the movements in Thu Duc City are increasingly developing in both content and form, unleashing the strength and potential of the people. According to Ms. Hong, the Thu Duc Fatherland Front coordinates the development and expansion of mass models, including many good and effective models and clubs such as: "Self-managed household security and order groups", 486 "Self-managed boarding houses"; Safe apartment buildings for fire prevention and rescue; Self-managed motorbike taxi teams; and the model of installing security surveillance camera systems on roads and alleys in residential areas.
Ms. Ho Thi Dan Thanh, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association, reported that over the past year, local branches of the Association have mobilized the establishment of 58 new models of "Farmers' Vanguard for Preventing Social Evils" and self-governing groups for security and order, bringing the total number of models of farmers' association members in the city to 220, preventing 48 cases of law violations in the locality. Notably, the "Security and Order Surveillance Camera" model in Tan Thoi Nhi commune (Hoc Mon district) has proven effective, contributing to preventing 11 cases of law violations…
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thang Long, Deputy Head of the Staff Department (Ho Chi Minh City Police), statistics from 2023 to the present show that the public has provided authorities with over 16,000 pieces of information related to security and order, of which nearly 6,000 were valuable. Thanks to this valuable information from the public, the police force has handled nearly 2,000 cases, involving over 2,200 individuals who committed administrative violations and showed signs of criminal offenses.
Ms. Duong Thi Huyen Tram, Head of the Movement Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Front always identifies mobilizing the strength of the entire population to participate in crime prevention as one of its key tasks to coordinate with relevant units. Accordingly, it has coordinated with the city's police force and the entire political system to implement many comprehensive solutions to ensure good security and order, such as: advising Party committees and authorities to strengthen inspection, supervision, and handling of violations, and thoroughly resolving emerging incidents; improving the effectiveness of state management of security and order, especially in residence management and fire prevention and control; building and maintaining models of the "All People Protect National Security" movement in residential areas...
According to Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, first and foremost, mobilizing the strength of the entire population to participate in crime prevention is a task that needs to be carried out regularly. Next, it is necessary to encourage the people to detect and report crimes, as well as to effectively rehabilitate and create jobs for offenders. In key areas, self-governing models or those implemented by the people must be thoroughly promoted.
Mr. Tuan stated that transforming areas with complex social order and security issues in the coming period requires units to continue innovating the content, form, and methods to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and closely monitor the area, in order to build and strongly promote the "People's Support" strategy. In particular, building a clean and healthy social environment starting from each family and neighborhood/hamlet is one of the key solutions in the Front's propaganda activities.
