(NADS) - On the afternoon of August 21st in Ho Chi Minh City, GMA (Gods of Martial Arts), Vietnam's leading martial arts tournament, officially signed a cooperation agreement with The Grand Ho Tram, vFilms, and the Fundgo Creative Startup Investment Fund. This is a significant milestone in elevating the scale of martial arts tournaments in Vietnam, opening up many new development opportunities for GMA in the international market.
At the ceremony, GMA's Chairman and CEO, Mr. Johnny Trí Nguyễn, along with representatives from partner companies, shared their common vision and strong commitment to promoting the development of martial arts and entertainment in Vietnam.
Walter Power, CEO of The Grand Ho Tram, expressed his expectations: “The partnership with GMA perfectly aligns with our vision. We are honored and look forward to welcoming all of you to Ho Tram for the GMA Grand Finals – promising to be one of Vietnam’s most spectacular martial arts events.”
Mr. Vuong Le Vinh Quan, General Director of vFilms, emphasized: “With a vertical film platform designed specifically for mobile phones, the collaboration with GMA helps us connect cinema and martial arts, providing opportunities for fans to interact anytime, anywhere. We are very excited about this groundbreaking collaboration.”
Martial arts master Johnny Trí Nguyễn, General Director of GMA, responded with a visionary perspective: “GMA is not just about martial arts, but also about art spreading to a global audience. With this year's theme being 'Vietnamese Divine Martial Arts,' we are focusing on development in our homeland but also aiming to expand internationally. This collaboration is a crucial step in that journey.”
The vibrant atmosphere at the ceremony stemmed not only from the signed agreements but also from the high level of determination of the fighters. Fighter Tran Minh Nhut shared: “My teammates and I are working hard to prepare for the tournament. GMA is a tough competition, and I will give my all for the club's colors.”
At the end of the event, martial arts master Johnny Trí Nguyễn announced that GMA would increase the prize money by 30% from sponsorships and ticket sales revenue, in recognition of the efforts and talent of the participating fighters.
Following the strong spread of "Vietnamese Martial Arts" within the Vietnamese martial arts community, GMA and its sponsors will proceed with plans to expand the tournament to the international market.
The organizers promise that this will be a night of top-tier competition, where the best fighters will compete for the championship.
