The construction team is accelerating the project's progress.
Mr. Ha Tan Linh, Secretary of the Hong Dan Commune Party Committee, said: “The local authorities have mobilized dozens of households to agree to hand over land for the construction of bridges 9,000, Ba Hien, and 8,000. Regarding bridge 6,000, the last remaining obstacle on the route, most households have now agreed in principle, with only one case still being persuaded. We are determined to cooperate with relevant agencies to complete land clearance as soon as possible, meeting the project's schedule.”
The project has a total investment of over 271 billion VND, a length of approximately 10.9 km, and is designed according to the standards of a Class IV road in a flat area; with a design speed of 60 km/hour, a road surface width of 7 m, a road base width of 9 m, along with a drainage system and other supporting works.
This is an important transportation project connecting agricultural production areas, completing inter-regional infrastructure, and creating momentum for socio -economic development in the region. However, since its implementation in 2019, the project has still faced difficulties in some locations due to land clearance issues.
To expedite progress, the People's Committee of Hong Dan Commune, in coordination with relevant agencies, has intensified its efforts in propaganda and mobilization. As a result, the people have increasingly understood the significance of the project, agreeing to hand over the land and supporting the construction.
Mr. Danh Tim, from Ninh Thanh II hamlet, shared: “The government has provided compensation and support in accordance with regulations, so my family agrees to hand over the land. Everyone hopes the road will be completed soon so that travel and trade will be more convenient.”
This project has been eagerly awaited by the people for many years. Now that construction is continuing, the residents are very excited and hope for its early completion so that the rural landscape will become even more vibrant.
When the common good is placed above all else.
To date, most of the bridges along the route, such as the Ba Gió Bridge, the 2,000-meter Bridge, the Sư Liên Bridge, and the 4,000-meter Bridge, have been completed; the remaining locations have basically had their land cleared, with only one case remaining unresolved at the 6,000-meter Bridge.
As soon as the land is handed over, the construction unit immediately begins work. On the construction site, the bridge abutments and road foundations are progressing rapidly, with many sections already completed and ready for asphalt paving. The previously interrupted road is gradually taking shape, raising hopes for connectivity and development in the locality.
This result stems not only from the decisive actions of the local Party committees and authorities but also from the sense of responsibility and consensus of the people. In reality, when propaganda and mobilization efforts are effective and the people cooperate for the common good, bottlenecks in land clearance are gradually overcome.
Expanding the scope of development
Following the merger, many key transportation projects in Ca Mau province have seen positive progress, but land clearance remains a crucial issue requiring focused efforts. Recently, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Thieu, along with a delegation, inspected the progress and land clearance situation at several projects, including the Ninh Quoi - Ngan Dua road construction and upgrading project.

During the meeting, the comrade emphasized the important role of the project in connecting infrastructure, expanding development space, and requested the local authorities and relevant units to complete the handover of the land in June to accelerate the construction progress.
In reality, investing in transportation infrastructure is not just about building roads and bridges, but also about creating a foundation for long-term local development. The initial results of the project demonstrate the determination of the government, the coordination of various forces, and especially the consensus of the people.
Once the Ninh Quoi - Ngan Dua road is completed, travel, agricultural product transportation, and trade will become more convenient, creating momentum to attract investment, develop socio-economic conditions, and improve the lives of the people.
