Thanh Hoa City currently has over 9,300 operating businesses. To develop the business community and entrepreneurs, promote economic growth, and create jobs for workers, the city has implemented numerous solutions and policies to encourage the development of new businesses. As an organization representing the legitimate rights and interests of the city's business community, the Thanh Hoa City Business Association is actively promoting networking, training, and strengthening exchanges and linkages to foster the robust development of the city's business community in the future.

The Thanh Hoa City Business Association organized a seminar titled "Red Star Entrepreneurs," which strongly inspired the entrepreneurial spirit within the business community.

Since the beginning of the year, the association has regularly organized monthly visits and networking activities for its members. According to the Association's Member Networking Committee, in addition to introducing their business models to other businesses within the association, these activities also allow members to exchange experiences, receive feedback, and explore new directions and development opportunities. This is also an opportunity for businesses to expand their connections, cooperate, find customers, and support each other in investing in and developing production and business effectively.

Le Ngoc Minh, Chairman and Director of 19-5 Thanh Hoa Joint Stock Company, said: "Although not a new enterprise, with our business activities in the automotive and related services sector, joining the association gives us more opportunities to introduce and promote our products. In addition, businesses can exchange, learn from, and support each other in production and management experience, especially in product sales."

As a young enterprise in the elevator manufacturing sector, despite only appearing on the Thanh Hoa market since 2017, AZ Electrical Engineering Elevator Co., Ltd. has quickly built a reputation for its products and services. Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Thiet Thich shared: “Joining the association not only allows us to access a new customer base of businesses with many potential projects in the field where we can cooperate, but also provides young entrepreneurs with motivation from successful entrepreneurs to always strive, overcome difficulties, and lead their businesses to greater success.”

In Thanh Hoa City, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role due to their suitable size in terms of land, capital, and personnel, enabling them to maintain high flexibility and easily adapt to market changes. However, with this scale, access to production resources such as capital, natural resources, technology, and legal knowledge is limited. In this context, the role of associations becomes very important in providing a networking and learning environment that is almost free of charge.

Along with networking among members, a new and outstanding feature of the Thanh Hoa City Business Association in 2024 was the themed seminars conducted both in person and streamed online on the association's digital platforms, attracting the attention of numerous businesses. With the participation of many speakers and entrepreneurs, these seminars provided businesses with valuable knowledge about the market, law, and business management skills, useful for operating small and medium-sized enterprises.

For example, at the "Management Profession" Business Forum held in October 2024, speaker Mai Huu Tin, Chairman of the 4th term of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Deputy Head of the Private Economic Development Research Board under the Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Advisory Council, and Chairman of the Binh Duong Provincial Business Federation, shared knowledge about the role of vision, strategy, resource allocation, teamwork, corporate culture, and the skills of creative leaders... Along with that, he also shared knowledge about risk identification skills; leadership models; how to design organizations and manage talent to maximize the intelligence and capabilities of employees.

The speakers also directly discussed, explained, and resolved some difficulties and obstacles faced by entrepreneurs participating in the forum related to business management; predicted opportunities and challenges for young entrepreneurs; discussed the potential for development and competition in several areas of furniture manufacturing and construction; and advised on cash flow management skills. They also encouraged and inspired businesses and entrepreneurs in Thanh Hoa on how to maintain confidence and entrepreneurial spirit to face the challenging developments of the market economy.

The Thanh Hoa City Business Association has now grown to 600 members. To date, it has not only expanded its membership base within the city but has also spread its activities, attracting business members from districts, towns, and cities throughout the province, as well as some businesses from other provinces and cities nationwide. This confirms the association's appeal, which stems not only from protecting the rights and interests of businesses but also from its strong emphasis on sharing, cooperation, and mutual growth.
